Heck yeah. Spores are amazing things. I'll usually put off going to get groceries way down to the last of everything, but if I'm out of shrooms, I'm making a run.

Edit: Thanks MM. I was gonna make chicken piccata, but didn't feel like doing that much work, so plop in goes the chicken and everything else. Set and forget.

No food pics, but here's the aftermath. Some of the best chicken I've had in a while. It was melt-in-your-mouth goodness. Served with mashed taters and salad (with those little corn on the cob things).

Then some Long Islands for a capper. My lady friend hammered those down a little too quickly and had to call it an early night. lol It was a great Friday night meal at Casa De Planko though.

Having a late lunch of just a plain Shake Shack 'Shroom Burger on a brioche bun, with no lettuce or tomato (with a burst of cheese from inside the burger itself). Absolutely delicious, and the burger is light and crispy. Some lemonade on the side.

My LF made some broccoli cheese soup yesterday and gave me a jar full, so I threw in some of that leftover chicken I had. Dam good.

Broccoli cheese soup - yum! That's good hearty winter Midwestern fare!

The nearest one is about 40 minutes out. Kinda closer to my office at work though, so maybe a lunch time adventure is in order when I get back there. Currently working from home.
