My bad. I didn't mean to cause a stir.

I finally switched to making vegetarian quiche, with broccoli and goat cheese. As the image shows, I have my priorities straight: first eating, then acting like an insta bitch.
(also, the hideous tablecloth you can see a glimpse of was my landlady's idea)

OMG Marie, that looks beautiful and delicious! Are those scalloped potatoes on top? (And I only see what looks like the edge of a tablecloth there - with a cut-off word on it: Does it say "Latte" by chance? Inquiring minds want to know lol.)

It's goat cheese that didn't melt completely. And yeah, it's one of those plastic tablecloths with random food and drink related words on it - _-

Ah, discs of goat cheese on top is an interesting idea. It looks nice too. I don't make quiche often, but now I'm tempted. Hope you enjoyed that first slice! |

Looks delicious!
I'm cooking some crockpot chicken atm with 4 ingredients: Boneless chicken breasts, cream of chicken soup, chicken gravy mix, and a ton of mushrooms. I love mushrooms. Should be done around 4-5ish.

^ Sounds good, Plankton. My daughter recently gave me a multicooker but I haven't used it yet. I love mushrooms too - especially the mixed exotic ones that are so interesting - like hen o' the woods, etc.! I occasionally make a porcini mushroom risotto.

I have yet to taste one of those hen o the woods. One of the major tree variants around here are Oaks too. I'll get to bite into one someday, just gotta make a point to do so. Porcini's are wonderful, and with a good risotto... hoo boy, just thinking about it... I gotta lay down for minute. lol

Yes, porcinis are to die for - particularly in a risotto! Hope you get to try those hens one day lol - they're delicious. I think mushrooms are incredibly interesting and beautiful. Good meat substitutes as well. Cooked mushrooms are one of the most nutritious things you can eat.
