You literally just wasted your time telling me that, egg boy.

X2

Not liking egg is one thing. Not liking onion is childish.

No. No amount of culinary experience will get me over my hatred of onions. It's not even a taste thing. I don't even mind onions in a salad compared to how much I don't particularly like salads in general. I don't like them. But they're whatever in raw form by comparison to cooked onions. Cooked onions are like reverse ASMR to me. Biting into cooked onion is nails on a chalkboard. I hate it. It makes me feel bad. The feeling of my teeth crunching into cooked onions is indescribably awful to me. It makes anything I'm eating with them in it into an actively hostile experience that I must endure. They make the hair on the back of my neck stand up as if they exist purely to make me feel loathing.

What have you eaten that had cooked onions in it

The Batlord 05-06-2020 09:31 PM

So many ****ing things. They're in so many ****ing things. They're inescapable. Perhaps you simply don't notice because they aren't your nemesis, but I notice them constantly.

This is the food equivalent of calling metal screamo. There are just so many ways that cooked onions can go. I'm gonna chalk this up to you not liking onion rings.

The Batlord 05-06-2020 09:32 PM

It's the food equivalent of calling a jackhammer going off right next to your head deafening.

I'm just thinking you probably had something that wasn't cooked well and your experiences with subpar food had marred your opinion on such a staple ingredient.

The Batlord 05-06-2020 09:39 PM

No. All cooked onions have a consistency that is dreadful.
