I took a look at two different types of peanut butter just for the **** of it. The 'organic' one was made from 'organic' peanuts, and the non-organic one was made from peanuts.

EDIT: If it is referring to meat, it generally means that it was an animal that was fed grains and grasses that meet those standards, and was raised without pharmaceutical antibiotics.
