I'll start, I'm not sure whether to laugh or cringe at 2004's slogan for the site.

The one from 2009 is all messed up, just the HTML text. It looked exactly as it does now.

Musicbanter through the years - it was always full of 'orrible ****s, but I liked the old ones better.

the music chart on the side in 2007 hurt my soul. now i have lips of an angel perpetually stuck in my head.

If I remember correctly it was only there a few weeks while he experimented with new add ons.

Wow, it's rather entertaining seeing what it's been like. I didn't even remember how it was when I joined in 2005.

Yeah the 2009 one is messed up, I was a member here then and it looked the same as it does now.

It's funny looking at all the old usernames though and reminiscing about old members: coryallen, boo boo, comus, captain caveman, dac, right-track...etc.

It's depressing how little its changed.

Yeah, pretty much.

But also a good wake-up call for people who look back romantically on "the good old days".

Right Track comes out of the woodwork once in awhile.

He made a thread and people had a big bitch in it, put him off completely. People need to stfu sometimes.

Put off a long time ago, Vanilla. The fact this place never moves on (see admin) was the main reason.

Because I remember it as a thread where a long time member came back after a reasonably long absence, asked some questions wanting to know about the people who are around now and immediately got shit on.

If because of that he came to the conclusion that he preferred the forum as it was then you can hardly blame him.

I don't recall the order of events happening that way. The forum blame of current members happened first then the reminiscing of older members happened afterwards.

Whatever.
The thread is still there, people can make their own mind up.

Wow, that's really cool. I love the Wayback Machine. Looking at how websites once were is always interesting for me.
