I'm allergic to cats.

So, dogs. I have multiple rescue dogs.

I love my cat, she's incredibly weird but we've been through quite a bit in the 11 years I've had her. I may have to go dog when she dies, no other cats could compare to her.

I do like cats, but I love dogs way more. I feel that they're more loyal. They're also more playful, from my experience, at least. And I just like the way dogs look more.

I like 'em both. I started a new job at an animal sanctuary recently where there are a lot of unwanted, homeless and abused cats and dogs and they're all lovely, even the scruffy, unfriendly ones.

Yeah, I work with animals too. I would never buy a dog/cat from a breeder. I would definitely always rescue one from the pound or RSPCA.

My neighbor and I are officially at war because I just called the authorities on her. She claims to be putting rat poison in the cat food she leaves out for strays, which is despicable.

Jesus. Did they charge her with anything?

I don't think so, but they let her know she'd be closely watched. She made it a point to tell me I should be thankful my cat's strictly indoors, I won't have to worry about her running it down. What a horrible person.

There's someone in SF who leaves poisoned meatballs around dogparks all the time. If it were a neighbor, fights would happen. That **** don't fly.

What is wrong with people?

They're animals. They can't stick up for themselves against the scumbag humans.

Why do you keep your cat permanently indoors?

A woman I work with does the same (keeps all her cats indoors) because on the street where she lives a number of cats were poisoned. I can't understand why anyone would poison a cat. Maybe they're sick, bird lovers. But what's next, worm and bug lovers poisoning birds?
