I don't mind little tiny barks sometimes, but some dogs (much like children ... I don't really care for noisy children) lose their shit sometimes and it's so annoying. They're just like "HUMAN! HUMAN HUMAN HUUUUMAAAN! I SAW A THING AND THE THING SAW ME AND I'M PANICKING!" and it goes on for like 20 minutes.

I agree with the weird smell thing, too. Some people have dogs that smell so gross, it's ridiculous. What the hell did their dog roll in? Garbage? Shit? Ughh.

(I do love small dogs and puppies, as well as mid-size dogs - especially golden retrievers and afghan hounds. When I see non-service dogs at work, I'm a lot more excited to pet them than their owners are to have them, it would seem.)

My parents used to live in an apartment, and they had a cat. My mom said that at the same time everyday, the cat would jump up and sit in front of the door when my dad came home from work. Not at any other time he entered the building though, just when he was coming home from work.

I like cats and dogs. My cats are mostly outside cats so theyre pretty much room mates that I barely see and have to feed. I like that theyre easy to take care of. And theyre so cute and snuggly :3

Dogs are great becuase they are extremely loyal and caring. The downside is its also like having a kid in some ways. You really have to give a dog the time of day for it to be happy.

I think its hilarious how many tongue in cheek and passive aggressive insults are being thrown around in this thread between the two opposing viewpoints.
