bad habits/addictions thread
In an effort to comfort myself I'm wondering(hoping) that others on here have some crippling, and potentially life-shortening addictions on this forum?
I'll start with my own- daily smoking daily alcohol consumption Energy drinks(which I was unaware killed so many people so will eliminate) Fast food, don't even like it but seemingly everywhere and get hungry Also been thwarted by some very mean vain mistresses at work to use teeth whitener which will **** up my enamel for a few weeks to obtain unnaturally white teeth |

1. I have recently quit smoking by about 90%. I still bum cigarettes when I got out but the main goal has been reached as I haven't bought my own personal pack since the summer. Now I have transformed into that annoying assh*le who bums cigarettes from his friends. However, I'd have to do this for like three more years to catch up to my friends who have bummed from me since high school.
2. Movies. I watch WAY too many movies. It used to be 2-3 a day and I've weened myself off to about 4-5 a week. I think that's reasonable. 3. I eat horribly. My high metabolism is starting to fail me because I'm putting on weight. The thing that kills me is my job. I am constantly racing the clock in my car so I usually get fast food as it is...well...fast. I need to start making lunch. |

I don't have too much. I definitely want to slow down/stop drinking soda, but I know for a fact the headaches would be pretty crappy for a while as I drink a caffeinated soda or two a day so I know I have a slight addiction.
I also drink energy drinks and love the **** out of Monster but I only really drink them on weekends so at least that's not too bad I suppose. Sometimes I think I smoke a lot of pot on weekends (generally I'm high for pretty much every waking hour Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and some on Thursday night too), but it's really not too bad. I got a $50 dollar bag back in like the beginning of January and still have a weekend or so left from that same bag, so I think I do a lot better with it than some stoners and I don't think $50 a month is going overboard with anything, especially since I pretty much don't buy myself video games or anything anymore.
