Same, I've done it since I was a kid. My fingertips look pretty horrid tbh, I usually peel the skin off the very top so my fingertips are sometimes bright red and really tender. I also have those little hard callous bits of skin around my fingers (mainly my thumbs) and those are an absolute pleasure to pick. I fidget a lot aswell but dunno if that's related to my finger munching. I never really bother what my hands look like until I paint my nails etc, because people then ask to see my nails and aren't quite sure what to say. Most people just constantly ask me if I'm hungry which is annoying. Do you do it more when you're nervous etc? I've found I do it more when I'm stressed, nervous, anything along those lines really.

I also pick skin off my fingernails, I do it at night when I'm bored or in the process of trying go to sleep. I don't do it all the time, but it can be really sore the next day. I try to stop myself. I love clicking my knuckles too.

I'm borderline insane about cracking my knuckles. I have this obsession with the number four, and also sixteen since it's four squared and therefore extra divine. So I have to crack the knuckles on each of my hands sixteen times (thirty-two in all). This used to be almost impossible, but apparently if you keep doing it you can do it more and more. It's not uncommon for me to be able to get thirty-two twice. Each one of my knuckles will crack two or three or even four times.

I can even crack my wrists, my toes, my ankles, and on occasion even my hips. Not to mention it sounds like I'v just snapped my neck if I crack it.

I can literally crack every single joint in my body except my shoulders, one ankle and my jaw. And that's only because I haven't figured out a way to do it without breaking them. I crack my knuckles and the other joints on my fingers. Can even crack my thumbs.

I'm getting shivers just reading about you guys loving to crack your knuckles. It gets under my skin super quickly.

One bad habit that irritates me is when people chew their food with their mouth open. Its like geez.. were you born in a barn? And each individual makes these god awful (individual) sounds with their mouth while eating whatever and wherever, in public restaurants or at home, it doesn't make any difference to these people. I try to ignore it as much as I can and let them enjoy their food but sometimes it gets so hard not to say anything when at the same time I could just bite nails into with my teeth it bothers me so bad. I wish they would show the same courtesy to people that eat normal with their mouth closed while they eat their food, in public places especially.

^ I've had a couple friends that do that and I've even pointed out how gross it is and they don't understand the problem or why it bothers me. I think it really comes down to parenting. My parents would absolutely never let me chew with my mouth open as early as like age 4, but other parents just don't care as much to enforce it I guess.

I think you're absolutely right, they act like its just a normal thing to chew their food with her mouth open lol.

I cannot start my day without a nice big, strong cup of tea.
I cannot end my day without a nice big, strong cup of tea.
I cannot survive the middle pat of the day without multiple nice big, strong cups of tea.

I think I'm addicted to the quitting smoking process. I'll go months to years without smoking and then one day just be like "I feel like being a smoker again," buy a pack, and then a few months later quit again. Maybe is masochism, I don't know.

I'm definitely addicted to coffee. I drink cup after cup all day, can't get to sleep at night, am inevitably tired the next morning, and start the cycle over again.

I have a bad habit of taking a lot of baths, which is bad because California's in a drought right now. I also tend to drink while in the bath, resulting in a very drunken but ultimately relaxed Stephenie.

I have a bad habit of collecting bibles. I always take the bible from the drawer in hotel rooms, always take the ones handed out on street corners, and I've spent way too much money on different translations I've found on the internet.

As a kid I discovered a way to crack my jaw: Put a rubber ball in one side of your mouth and bite down hard. Usually the other side will give you a satisfying crack. Good fun for we amateur self-chiropractors.
