As a result, when I'm in a leg-picking phase, the entire bottom half of my legs are always COVERED in tiny little scabs and wounds. Showering can be painful as a result. But they're healing now. I tried fake nails for a while, which worked but they come off too easily. (had to use the press on kind since I'd rather not go to a nail salon during a pandemic)

It's so very hard to resist. One thing that helps is just constantly putting on lotion and hand cream so that I'm like an ultra moisturized snail, making my skin too slippery to pick at, but I'm constantly forgetting to do so.

Dang. That's rough.

One of my bad habits is picking my nose while I sleep. With time it has resulted in frequent random nosebleeds. I don't see how I can control it unless I put a muzzle over my face before going to bed. :/

Become a glove wearer like some old timey Southern lady.

I bite the tip of my tongue so much that I create a small line/wound down the center

For some reason I like the pain in that one specific region so I do it without even thinking about it/ against my will.

^^ Jesus Christ that sounds painful and annoying!

That actually may not be a bad idea! Put some kind of thick glove on before going to sleep. Hmmm...I'll think about it. Thanks! :D

Actually it's a love hate thing. I know I shouldn't do it but for some reason it feels good. Its like I short circuited some pleasure/pain response in my brain.

I DO actually want gloves as well as an umbrella that has UV protection. OBviously I wear sunscreen as well (Japanese baby sunscreen ONLY) but, as a white person, I'd like to avoid looking like a leather purse by the time I hit 50, so. I'm very mindful of sun damage. Oooh that reminds me, I'd been meaning to ask-- do any of you know of a reliable online canadian/indian pharmacy that does not require prescriptions? There used to be a couple good ones that I ordered generic versions of Tazorac etc before (learned about it through a forum where elderly ladies discuss skincare) but I've heard that they're both kind of a pain to deal with now. I desperately want to acquire some Retin-A and start using that as a preventative measure. (Not that I'm afraid of aging. I just don't want to age prematurely is all. Plus I have bad skin and Retin A is less harsh than Tazorac.)

I need to get over my addiction to animal fat. And as it's in damned near everything I eat my diet needs radical altering. I go for long stretches (a week) at a time without meat or meat by-products and in the middle of cooking a batch of string beans I'll think, Wow, these would be slamming with a bit of pork shoulder or at least a neck bone! Then it's biscuits with (animal fat) butter. Don't get me started with desserts. So cold turkey's (so to speak) is the only way for me. I've really gotta think about what I eat now. Drag. Until I don't have to (death or a new lifestyle). Ha

You trying to go vegan?

I chucked out beef from my diet mostly, but pork is much more difficult. My problem is that I still can't really think of meat production as unethical (even though I know that mostly how the animals are treated is terrible). I eat loads of poultry and eggs and milk also so going full vegan will probably not happen any time soon.

I love trying terrible-looking cheap mystery brand energy drinks from dollar stores and gas stations.
