I think Urban getting his Mom on here shows what a healthy relationship they have. Not a dam thing wrong with that.
I tell people about this place, and even suggested one of my very knowledgeable friends join up, but he doesn't really understand the concept. My GF gets confused as to which forum I'm talking about when I tell her some of the funny/interesting things that go on here, since I'm a member of quite a few forums. I've even directed some people to this place from other forums at times, especially around the time Trollheart gave my album that incredible review, and as long as I keep things on a civil level, there is no shame.

I always just say I post on a 'music website' and don't get specific cause I joined here when I was 13 and probably have some really tragic posts. It'll be worse than my facebook.
When I actually become good friends with someone I just mention them as my 'pen-pal' even though it's a white lie. I used to call UnchainedBallad my 'Portuguese pen-pal' to all my friends and it sounded a lot cooler. |

Thanks for those kind words, they really gave my self-esteem a boost. I went from feeling like a a ****ing worthless moron to just a plan and ordinary ****ing moron. I'm so much happier now.

I'm really surprised at how many people have told at least one person outside the internet about this place. Maybe I'm just really secretive, and I like my privacy.
