That. That right there. That is why I can't stand parents. They're not all like that and they don't all have that "We're parents! We understand eachother! That's why we're so completely wrapped up in our own little bubbles! Because we're parents! We had BABIES! Do you have babies? No?

I don't mean to mock harmfully, just trying to be funny about something that grinds my gears. No, I don't have children. I fail to see the correlation between having babies and refusing to acknowledge or even engage any information that contradicts you.

It doesn't Dude. Some people think child rearing gives them the right to talk down to people. It doesn't. It's just the only thing some people can wield over others to make themselves feel a sense of over inflated self importance.

I think with Mord you just have to watch your wording. No doubt he's sensitive or finicky about how you approach him but I feel like I've disagreed with him in the past and he doesn't ignore me. If you don't feel like editing yourself it's probably best to just not respond and enjoy the things you have in common, if any.
