TFW you have a PD day, but there's an inch of snow on the ground, inhibiting enjoyment of the great outdoors.

When I was your age snow was the best thing ever. Snowball fights, football, sledding. We used to take our bikes to the frozen ice patch and play tag while riding. Get off your computer and go outside!

Frozen ponds and every kid out playing ice hockey pretending to be Bobby Orr.

(half the members of the forum ask "who?")

He's a legend up here. If somebody hasn't heard of him, chances are they're an immigrant.

And DWV, I would be out enjoying it, but the ground hasn't frozen yet. It's really a mess of mud and rotten leaves with some white frosting. Can't wait until the outdoor rinks are in action though! I can easily walk to them from my house, and there's always a game of pickup going on.

^ Very cool!

I have an autographed copy of "Orr on Ice" I got from him in 1970 when I was a young hockey player/fan.

tfw you have a customer so stupid that you briefly consider getting drunk on the job just to cope with their extreme idiocy
