Better than being outside and pretending like Fiji water is a thing. IDK maybe you don't live on the coast where humidity is generally in the vicinity of 100%. Even being outside at those times is like getting punched in the face.

tfw you lose your ID right when you actually started to put effort into finding a job, and you have no documentation of any kind on deck, and you have no idea where your parents are and can't get a hold of them to amend that problem, and you left some library items in your tent in the last spot and they're just sitting there building up hundreds of dollars in late fees, and your current tent is full of holes and disgusting millipedes and doesn't have a functioning door, and you haven't heard from or seen the one person you ever even hang out with for like two weeks, and every day is the same, and you just don't even know what's going on at all anymore.

tfw when you're too young for any of that to be anything more than angsty gayness

Man I wish I could help.

I know the feels. Sometimes I lose my ID and I don't even know who I am anymore.

Mondo Bungle 07-01-2018 05:17 PM

I don't think I exist now

isn't that how it works

Key 07-01-2018 05:19 PM

None of us exist

you're living in a tent?

how far are you from your place of birth? you need to acquire your birth certificate, which will get you a photo ID, and then a Social Security card

I'd send you $60 to order it problem is you need an address to receive it at

I've been living in a tent for 3 years

And then Mondo looks down, and sees his hands start to disappear.

I had to rough it for a bit but I usually found a couch to surf between grass naps, that first week on the streets is nothing to sneeze at, but I suppose you can adapt to anything

I think about that sometimes and wonder if you end up losing some vestige of civilized society that tells you being homeless means it's basically over and you're no longer a relevant human being. And if so is it horrible or liberating or just anti-climactic?
