TFW you wake to find Cyndy (the family friend you were catsitting for) helping herself to coffee in the kitchen because you forgot your house key and, after she's finished giving you the morning report, she starts asking why you don't have children or a husband and that "Time's running out!" (Am I dying and not aware of it..?) and that I should be thankful for my "good birthing hips!" as if that alone should motivate me to squeeze out some kids for no particular reason.

Why do they all do this kind of thing? How does eating meatloaf in the dark while watching TV sound like a fun and sexy time to anyone?

At least order a ****ing pizza or Chinese food or something.

The only reason I stopped eating for a while is because of the ephedrine in all the Primatene I was taking daily for my horrendous sinus infection. Killed my appetite completely. (I could destroy a chinese food buffet right now though)

To be fair I ****ed myself over in the beginning of the relationship making it clear I don't *need* fancy dates and romantic gestures. It's great to date your best friend until they start treating you like all their other friends but still expect blow jobs.

One of the worst things that ever happened to me was the bombass Chinese buffet around me closing. There's another with a Mongolian grill, but it's just not the same.

Everybody likes to be pampered once in a while. Maybe redefine your relationship parameters a little.

The thing I've observed over and over in others' relationships (at least the couples I've known and also my own) is, basically, one person becoming totally complacent and lazy (in all ways) after 6 months or so while the other person continuously anticipates their boyfriend/girlfriend's needs and bends over backward for them. And any attempt to communicate and make things more balanced will result in a few weeks or so of improvement and then back to square one. :/

They even had cheesecake. Ten pounds of chicken, lo mein, and egg rolls washed down with cheesecake. Like, how does it get better?

For years now I've been saying that there needs to be a late night chinese buffet (with desserts that aren't terrible jello & whipped cream disappointments) that has an arcade or something.
