Using a keyboard? No. With a control yes.
I actually recently saw a speed run on Ninja Gaiden and now it doesn't seem that hard. There's a power up that kills bosses in one hit. Megaman 1 is probably the toughest Mega man but the enemy spawn rate of Ninja Gaiden is just unfair.

TFW one of your Japanese students is wearing a Static X t-shirt, you ask him about it, and then you have a conversation about metal and prog, find out he plays the flute and keyboard, and then launch into an animated discussion about Jethro Tull.

And yet he likes Static X? I say as someone who likes Wisconsin Death Trip.

Yeah...I raised my eyebrows at Static X, but at least his t-shirt told me he knew something about Western music. And I wasn't disappointed. He asked me how I expand on what I listen to, so I introduced him to RYM.
