TFW your "rebound cat" takes a giant runny **** next to the baseboards, so you have to actually remove the baseboard from the wall to clean behind it, then hammer it back into the wall with your shoes when your done... And then when you go looking for him, you find him snuggled up on your pillow and decide not to awaken him because, after all, he needs his rest after a dump like that one.

I've been meaning to build a custom-corner enclosure made of clear Plexiglas to help prevent such things. For me it's more that my cat kicks litter out of the litter box, but it still gets around the baseboards.

I WISH my "new cat" (yeah, we've had him a year) would use a litter box. Apparently the other local tomcats would laugh at him for acting so pathetically domesticated. We usually just let him out when he meows. I swear he's been using our residence as a rehab spa after his Growltiger-esque adventures.

We gave a doggie door, so our cats are used to going outside. They're still indoor cats for the most part, cause central heating, but they mainly use the litterbox when it's winter or they're too lazy to go exploring. (We have a fenced in yard, though.)

Yeah, I've looked at those, but they're not aesthetically pleasing. My design would be sleeker than that, and I'd also want to add the custom litter box itself to the bottom portion. If I ever get the motivation to actually make one, I'll post about it.

Dude... are you a pretentious litterbox owner? Really?

If you mean to say I don't do gaudy litter boxes, then color me an erudite debutante.
