I think I generaly have low blood pressure, so I've had those a few times.
They're over quickly, but it sucked having one in public and also appearing to be a huge pussy who can't hold his liquor/drugs, alhough I was relatively sober before and immediately afterwards.

I had a beer with him once, at the bar in the Knitting Factory when it was still located on Houston St. in NYC. Spent about 20 minutes talking about music with him. He seemed quite down-to-earth and easygoing.

Frith seems like a great guy. I've seen him live five-six times and four of those he was hanging out at the bar before/afterwards. But I'm shy like a little girl when it comes to meeting musicians I love, so I just adoringly observed him from nearby bushes.

Yeah, not the coolest thing to be seen fainting. But still, it's better than having high blood pressure. Your risk of heart attack, stroke and kidney disease is decreased. Yay.

I usually wait until after a show before I attempt to approach one of the musicians to say a few words but this particular time was before the show and he just happened to sit down at the empty bar stool next to me.

It's easily treatable these days. You just have to find the right combo of pills. I was up in the 180/110 range many moons ago. Now I take 1 each Atenolol and Losartan every morning. This past Tuesday when I went for a follow up appt. my BP was 104/74. It's been good like that for years now.

Had this real bad.
I hate when that happens (never had it in the shower though). Just make sure to stand up slowly or have regular breathing beforehand. Every time you stand up. Forever.

Very nice. He's always seemed like a down to earth music folk from his interviews.
