Depending on the situation, medication can do more harm than good if an illness is misdiagnosed, this is true. One thing I will say though is withdraw from medications that affect your brain chemistry is very dangerous, and I've almost seriously hurt myself and disappeared when that's happened. The medication I'm on will also manifest physical symptoms of withdraw too. Everything hurts, you shake uncontrollably, and you start to pass out. Medication can be beneficial, but it's important to keep tabs on when you take it, when you're out of it, and if it's showing detrimental effects to your mental health. |

That feeling when you're a cheapskate, and you always buy the cheap model over the quality model because you think you can get away with it. Then, later on, you end up having to buy the higher-end model because the cheapo didn't work or broke, effectively causing you to spend more than you would have originally if you simply would've ponied up some dinero for **** that will last. Feels good manz.

Some things you can slide by with getting the cheap stuff. But if it's something you're going to use often, or want/need it to work when you need it to work, it's generally better to assume that cheap price means cheap quality. Obviously this isn't always the case - $0.97 towels from Walmart do the same thing that $3 towels from Target does but that's neither here nor there.

TFW you have a smallish TV, and apparently the game designers don't give a **** and make the text in their games impossible to read if you don't have a television the size of Canada.

I've done the whole buy cheapo power cables off ebay thing for years now, because an aftermarket universal one is $44 at the least. Used OEM power cable = $16.99. Turns out the ebay special didn't work, so I had to go and buy the $44 universal cable anyway. Now I spent $60.99 instead of $44. |

Yes, which is surprising to be honest. I have bought new laptops since then, but none of them worked as well/smooth as this one, so I went back to the one I'm using now and sold the others off. With the newer laptops, I didn't see any improvement in processing speed -- for me that means browsing the Internet and YouTube, not gaming -- even though they had better specs. Eventually it will get to the point where I will be forced to upgrade, but the advancements in the operating system (I'm using Windows 7) have yet to make my computer obsolete.
