The Official MB Meetup Thread
 

I feel like this has become more and more of a common occurrence, so why not make a thread about it?

There is the possibility that I'll be meeting up with Whatever Dude in the next week, Mr. D00d in the next month, Bob and DJ Chameleon in the next couple months, and Exoskeleton as soon as possible if the universe sees fit.

My goal is to have this thread track the meetups of MB members, as well as serve for a potential meetup planning space.

Paul, you're close to me and Mr. D00d. We should have a joint meetup.

I met up with Merkaba but have no pictures sadly. I'm still waiting for Paul to arrive in his canoe!

I met khfreek and RageAgainstTheMachine at a Fall of Troy concert in 2010.

It would be really cool to meet some of you. Unfortunately I don't think anyone lives close by and I don't have a lot of time or money to travel anywhere at the moment. So a meetup for me is kind of a pipe dream right now but there is still a possibility.

Would depend if people wanted to meet me as well, of course.

I think all the East Coast people are gone. Once upon a time there were even people from MA here.

You could meet up with me and Jans is in Philly. Neo and Exo are nearby as well.

Actually, thats not a bad plan. How's May? I'm buried under 40 feet of snow right now.

If I was in America I would meet up with you all!! Britain is so tiny and **** so hardly any members live over here.



Manky lives about 30min drive away from me and Mojo is about an hour and a half. They're the only members I would consider meeting unless there's people near me I never knew about. James lives really close nearby too but I've no idea which end of Scotland he is at.

I really want to meet you. One day if either of us ever makes it across the pond. :)

Yeah definitely, if I ever venture over that neck of the woods (America) I will probably plan which states I visit around the members I want to meet, and then up to Canada so I can frolic in real snow and then you can make me tea to warm my belly :D :laughing: we would also be tall friends :).

Yeah, I completely agree. Humans are quite useless. What is the reason they exist, I don't know. But usually I'm only out when it is night, so I won't see too many of them.

Well I am from Cumbernauld but I currently live in Dundee for uni and work. Although I come back to Glasgow often for gigs and the like. Although I have been gone for ages I would possibly be up for a meet if it was organised and I was free!

i live in the ass end of canada, but i'd meet up with a quebecer or someone from maine. too bad nobody lives in maine and french canadians hate me.

Steph promised me she'd take me sailing when I went to SF. I'm just throwing that out as a reminder.

I will meet up with fellow Canadians but then again, this country is so damn vast that time and money for plane tickets is a factor once again.

Well, you've mentioned it before and I'm planning on making some non-holiday, non-birthday, just hanging out type of trips up there this year. So I think we could make it work.

So if anyone meets up, what would you do with that person? Does it depend if you go to them or they visit you?

You and Manky gonna have the first Musicbanter child? We can raise him as a forum, we all get a say in his life decisions and how he is raised. Perhaps some of MB's high revenue stream can go towards funding diapers and baby food, and if the world hasn't ended possibly college.

I can't believe that I live in the same town as the coolest person on the forum and still haven't met up with bob.
