No NYE parties for me this year... I think those days are long gone lol. It's just going to be me and my boyfriend. We're going skating outside, and it's supposed to snow so maybe it will be all romantic and shit. Probably also go for a nice dinner before that. Then we'll come home and have a nice night inside.

Other people probably think that's boring but honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way.

That's exactly what I was thinking when I posted that we're going to a hockey game

Haha! Hockey is fun, so not boring at all!

I just don't know how people can do all the partying and **** like that, all night long. I'm not a huge party person at all, so it seems kind of pointless to me. I never have a good time.

Drink, dance, chat up some hot looking strangers. What is there not to love about partying and ****?

Doesn't work out too well when you're a socially crippled blackout drunk like me.

Depends on the party you go to.

Drink the non alcoholic champagne but not much can help you with being a square(socially crippled).

No, socially crippled came first.

I'm absolutely fine leaving that world behind, I assure you.

Clubbing and raves are not exactly my scene, I guess. When I was 19 and old enough to drink legally I used to go with my friends, but not anymore. I always tried to flirt with guys but falling flat most of the time, haha!

I'll go to bars for drinks and stuff though, and I've been chatted up by guys at those places, even with my boyfriend right beside me.

But yeah, this year it's just going to be our night alone.

Since I used to go out alone most of the time. Bars are the worse place to go. Everyone always seemed paired up and in groups. Anytime I would try to strike up a conversation I would get interrupted by their mates. I rather go to clubs and raves. Easy to just go grab my drink and hit the dance floor.

That reminds me of a few months ago, when I was at a friend's party and was standing alone in the corner (didn't feel like mingling at that moment), and this guy came up to talk. He was clearly interested while I was trying to exaggerate my non-interest. I even told him I wasn't single. Then my boyfriend comes back with some drinks, and clearly puts his arm around me and says "Hey man, what's up?" The guy was visibly crushed, but he obviously didn't pick up on my signals.
