We're going skating outside, and it's supposed to snow so maybe it will be all romantic and shit. Probably also go for a nice dinner before that. Then we'll come home and have a nice night inside.

Other people probably think that's boring but honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way.

Will be a great night :)

I played a gig. It was lots of fun, though perhaps I should have bothered to actually memorise the words for Auld Lang Syne... or, you know, even look at them beforehand haha.

New years eve was super fun, my besty came with her fiance and we had dinner an Indian restaurant, went back to mine for drinks (champagne for me) and then walked down to the local pub and did shots. I tried to keep my house mates there but they got into a taxi van. We danced to 80's music till we left it and walked up to mine. All three of us were in my bed (aa queen bed) and I was passed out until 10am. Steph was feeling sick and felt like she could vomit. I made them noodles and they felt better. Surprisingly I felt fine.

I want to hear about your stories!

Had a lot of fun last night. Probably post some pics later when the others upload them to Facebook.

Had great fun last night. Spent last night having a few drinks at my friend and his girlfriend's house along with a few other close friends. We couldn't go too wild because they have a one year old daughter but we had great fun playing shot roulette and singing cheesy pop songs on SingStar. Along with the usual countdown to midnight and Auld Lang Syne stuff of course.

I'd rather that than go to some crowded pub or club.

I've had many NYE's where I just spent a quiet night at home, especially when my daughter was very young and I can understand the not drinking thing and going to a Hockey game. Not a damn thing wrong with that at all. Now days I have quite a bit more freedom, and in order to do this NYE's celebration responsibly, we chose to have everyone come to us. That way I can get as buzzed as I want and don't have to worry about all the amateurs on the road. The only drawback is cleaning up after our guests when they finally leave in the morning.

Alright, everybody get up and get the **** out of my house!

The place is a wreck. Time to wake up the maid.
