I will admit I'm getting a little tired of the family and festivities already. Just a little bit. The last few days have been quite frustrating and stressful. |

Why does everyone feel the need to cut my kind from their roots, put into shackles, given only tap water, and wrapped in bright hot things and weights? I saw my brother being dragged into a house screaming "NO, NO, PLEASE STOP". I see him from the window, tilted against the window with an expression no one should ever witness or feel.

![]() ![]() Christmas snuck up on me this year. I got all of my gifts earlier but it kind of hit me today that Christmas is near. I think I might actually be feeling the Christmas spirit! Nah, I'm just drunk.

Since I do my Christmas thing on the eve rather than the day, due to logistics, I will share my wonderful gifts.
3 excellent cooking pans/pots. 1 very handy closet organizer that I desperately needed. 1 11 month old nephew who I got to see walk for the first time. He mastered it by the time he left. In his own convertible, fully loaded with women and booze. Well, not that part. But still, it was pretty awesome. We ate: - Corn & crab bisque - Shrimp jambalaya - Crab Casserole - Crab stuffed mushrooms - Shrimp pirogues So full.
