A Facebook-free world
It's hard to imagine a more intellect-sapping, morally-negative or brainwashing phenomenon than Facebook.
Facebook is for people who are desperate for attention, and some people will go to great lengths to get noticed. You only have to look at the photos stuck on there to prove that. The progression of the human species doesn't involve telling total strangers what you had for breakfast or that your goldfish died last night. The world would, quite simply, be a healthier place without Facebook. In a very few years, it will be a source of embarrassment to even admit that you once had a FB account. The problem is, that the pictures of you sticking your backside out of a window in a moment of drunkeness will find its way onto someones desk when you go for a job or seek a promotion. Its also a bit like a potential new husband/wife/partner doing a 'credit-check' on you or reading your life history before realising what a jerk you are. |

Don't worry about it. Whatever you meant. If recognising some of the inherent dangers of this FB stuff makes people think, then thats a good thing.
Sadly, there are very many people well past teenage years who are sucked into the infantile world of FB, and its the 'kids' that are dumping FB by the million! How interesting. |

Almost certainly I do. There are some creatures around that can't possibly be human.
The tell-tale signs are obvious. They generally have a little screen thing held out in front of them as they hobble along (I guess its a communication lifeline to the mother ship). Another sign is that they generally cannot do basic arithmetic. |

In short, I think you are making a huge generalization. |
