Happily I never went through that as a pre-teen, but others weren't so lucky. There has never been a and never will be any shortage of predatory pedo's

Yes but with Facebook and similar sites it's just like internet shopping for them now.

In the '70's the streets and highways were where they "shopped" for kids like me. I get what you're saying, but the extra tools doesn't turn otherwise non-predatory types into pedo's
