Stand-up comedy

Been thinking I might have a go at putting a set together.

Anyone tried it? How did it go?

I tried stand up ONE TIME. (But might I say I have a fear of speaking in front of others.) For me it didn't turn out too well, because my fear overcame the fact I wanted to do it. If you're good with talking in front of groups of people, then I'm sure it will go fine! But if you aren't, I advise that you work on that. Maybe try putting together a little thing of friends and doing your routine or perhaps at a party. :yeah:

I've tried it. Here is a video of my first time on stage.

PREFACE:
I fucked up SEVERAL things. The first joke about the "dime piece" and the bad economy was to convey that in a shitty economy, currency gets devalued, so calling someone a "dime piece" should be taken as an insult, as a dime is not worth very much. I also didn't hold the microphone correctly. And, I know that it was JONAH, not NOAH that was swallowed by a whale in the Bible.

Not bad for a first time. I wouldn't have had that level of confidence after ten shows, although you did keep your eyes closed too much, which I imagine is a no-no for connecting with the audience.

If you were there live, you could have seen my knees literally shaking.
