I always see the same composers popping up in the Top 5 Composers thread. If people are willing to learn about composers beyond Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, Handel, or Brahms let me know.
This classical thread is a riot:

...and I see no Schubert thread. I shall make one.

at some point

Apparently this forum really started going downhill this year. I joined in February. Coincidence?

You're special Paul, but not that special.

It takes a certain kind of special to ruin an entire community. That's why I'm almost positive it was me. I'm that kind of special. It just took a while for everyone to realize.

The point in introducing those topics or starting them up regardless of if they get little or no response at first is because there may be someone new that comes across it in the near future that it may end up appealing to but if you don't create them they won't be.

You are just thinking in terms of current members and not in terms of potential future members. There might be someone similar to you that comes to Musicbanter looking for classical content.

Wow I completely missed that. Definitely not a coincidence, I remember the day before you joined. So peaceful, relevant, quiet, and friendly. After...not so much.

Don't forget Rachmaninov, Holst, Elgar, Dvorak, Chopin and, you know, all that crew...
