Yeah heard good things about that actually, but I've just looked and I don't like the look of it, plus I bet Google will release a new Nexus 10 (though the current one looks too big). I will mainly be using it to watch documentaries, TV, films and just general browsing teh internets.

Was hoping to use the Nexus 7 as a phone but apparently you can't do that. Grr.

Yes you can there is an app called talkatone. If you get just the wireless one then you can only make calls over free WiFi spots but if you get the 3g model then you can use it like a phone everywhere.

Nah I meant like, if it's 3G then does the sim have to be contract.

However, it doesn't matter, cos I've just realised it's a stupid question anyway. Obviously if it works with a contract sim it'll work with a pay as you go sim.

I totally agree. If you guys don't get gifts from family, cheer yourself up with your own gifts. You could even wrap it up and open it on Christmas day!

I'm desperate for new perfume but mom always buys it every Christmas and birthday. I'm a spoilt only child.

The problem I have is I never know what I want because I just end up buying whatever I want with my own money.

Thats why they make gift cards. I seriously love receiving gift cards, its nice to have the alternative of picking your own present.

Yeah Fred that is a great idea. I'm buying dad itunes gift card so he can realise that its cheaper and easier to buy music online. Dad needs to move on from CDs. He's from a time where record players where the in thing. I've read an article on Vanity Fair magazine about the summer of love during 60's to early 70's and dad had really long hair (he's bald now) and wore bell bottom jeans! He smoked a lot of marijuana too, I'm deeply suspicious that he might of tried acid!
