Yeah that's true but the music and concept of growing up in the 60's and 70's was so new and exciting so I can see why people followed it because it was a way of rebelling from their parents. These days its crap to following trends because it is all about the Harlem Shake and planking. Maybe I'm being nostalgic?

Is anyone doing any volunteering over Christmas? I've decided to help the city mission over December to prepare for the free Christmas dinner for those who can't afford it or don't want to spend it alone. I could have just donated money but I'm untrusting of charities and prefer to get involved. I'm also considering the spca (animal rescue) but have already done that years ago. This year my folks aren't in a house yet and can't send me down to be with them over Xmas.

I'm not asking for praise Butthead, I'm just wanting to know if anyone is able to give their time for someone who needs it. Don't get me wrong, I'm not on a moral high ground, as some have told me.

We have boxes all over our county that allows people to drop donations to those charities. Honestly, i'd rather give clothing and food to anybody instead of money. I also want to go out for a day and give food to every single homeless person I see and say "Merry Christmas" and just walk away. The best part is seeing their reaction after the fact, most times they are the most grateful people ever.
