1) You don't need a date. Sometimes it's better that way. Then you can dance with whoever you want and you're not tied to one person.

2) Anyone can ask anyone to the prom.

3) Is what good? Prom? Sure, it's a lot of fun. I almost didn't go to mine but I'm glad I did!

Some schools have dress codes for prom - mostly for girls (like length of dress, etc). You can get away with a suit, but the dress code usually requires a necktie.
