I used to be obsessed with knowing the lyrics to songs I liked. These days I'm more concerned with appreciating the vibe and feel of a song. Indeed when the words are not very clear I often mishear them, then later when I discover what the real lyrics are I'm often disappointed and prefer the lyrics I imagined they were.
