Milk is not made for adult systems. It does not belong in tea. Nothing belongs in tea but tea.

The only time I do that is with Vanilla Chai tea and it's usually a drop or two of milk just to change the color of the tea.

I will explain that I've never once seen anyone just pour hot tapwater in a teacup with a teabag in it, unless the next step was to put the cup in a microwave. I do see people pour the PIPING hot water from the spigots at Starbucks but those are CONSIDERABLY hotter than what comes out of a tap.

Having said all that, I'm a coffee drinker. I very rarely drink tea.

HOWEVER.....Like tea, coffee is primarily water. Therefore it must be a crime to put milk in coffee.

I'm more of a black coffee drinker, but I will never pass up tea.
