Fair enough. We'll have to agree to disagree.

If I win the lottery next week it might seem wonderful, let's say I use my winnings to go on holiday and I get on the plane and it crashes and I'm killed then my winning the lottery wasn't so wonderful after all. Or maybe it was wonderful. Maybe my dying early was wonderful because later in life I was all set to suffer a mental breakdown, go on a senseless killing spree and ruin countless lives. Do you see my point?
And on a long enough time line everybody dies. If you wanna take it to the extreme then everything leads to one big loss. Who cares about using pseudo-philosophy to dissect a word with a simple dictionary definition? If you win the lottery you just won. You now have a lot of money. That is a win. You just won at playing the lottery. What you do afterward is irrelevant to your initial win.

Can't stand those fruity/herbal teas. Mostly have English/Irish breakfast tea - no milk no sugar.

You claim death is a big loss but death may be the greatest of all human blessings. We don't know.

As for what follows being irrelevant, I disagree. All things, including our decisions and our actions, are forever interacting with eachother. Our thoughts become our words, our words become our actions, our actions become our habits, our habits become our character, and our character becomes our destiny. Nothing happens in isolation.

You missed the point. A loss that comes from a win doesn't affect the status of the first win. The win was still a win. The resulting loss is separate.

We've been arguing over nonsense for days and now you're gonna do the whole "I'll believe what I believe and you believe what you believe" schtick? Were you carrying on a serious discussion or something? Cause I was enjoying the BS.

Hehe. We haven't been arguing. We've been discussing. It's like this: I enjoy bouncing ideas and opinions around, I enjoy sharing my philosophies and beliefs and I enjoy others sharing theirs, but as far as trying to prove myself right, or another wrong, or trying to convince someone to see the world through my eyes... to me that's senseless. For me to argue my point I would have to believe that the way I see things are the way things really are, but I don't believe that for a second. I suspect a lot of things, but am fully aware I don't know anything.

So, yes, I am gonna draw the 'I believe what I believe, and you believe what you believe' card. Sorry.

Mmm. I like green tea too. Although to be honest I like every tea I've ever tried and, boy, I've tried a few. But darjeeling is probably my favourite.

My favorites are jasmine tea, roobios and oolong, very strong black tea with only a tiny bit of cream + one spoonful of sugar, iced hibiscus tea and blackberry tea. (The latter unfortunately is extremely hard to find.) Oh, and having been raised in the south I love sweet tea too IF it's properly made. By the way, if you add a pinch of baking soda to the water right before placing the tea bags in to steep, it reduces the bitterness.
