In response to the OP: I've been friends with the woman who is now my wife for sixteen years, and had a crush on her since the first time we met. I've been in a relationship with her for nine years. Been married to her for six. We've been through a lot of things together, including two extended periods of our relationship being long distance, and she remains the love of my life. That is all. :)

That is so awesome man. What age did you meet her at, and how long did it take to fool her into it?

We were both twenty when we met but it took seven years for us to get together.

If you dont mind sharing how did that happen? Did you just kind of know each other for those 7 years or were you still good friends or something?

I ask because anytime people have been together for a long period of time it inspires me, and you have always seemed like a cool guy.

Love is a rare thing for me. I haven't found my one and only. Hopefully in the future.

Having a crush isn't as realistic but hey, atleast I know that love conquers all.
