Not sure who "she" is Fred but if you mean Vanilla then I'm going as her guest, not the other way round, so the wedding would have to be in beautiful NZ. If you mean Karen, she's confined to bed so travel of any kind is impossible for her, least of all air travel.

Unless of course I use my Star Trek transporter... But they're so expensive to run!

have your nails match your shoes whatever color you choose. Also wear flats because you will be dancing later on. Go light/easy on the makeup and if you aren't one of the brides maids that wear a uniform color then just wear whatever color dress you want as long as it compliments the color of your shoes/nails. Depending on the dress that you wear is how you will decide whether to wear your hair up or down.

dj, you know more about shoes/nails/makeup than I do!

Thanks for the 'grats guys... we got engaged a while ago but I tend to keep my private life on the DL...

grats on the upcoming wedding btw. I guess I didn't read through the thread and just replied to the OP.

My experience comes from hanging around with my female friends, living with my mother since my parents separated when I was younger and also being in certain online communities that tend to talk about those things often. Even with all of that experience though it ultimately comes down to how you feel in what you are wearing. So even if you did take my advice, take it with some salt because if you don't like the way you look/feel in what you are wearing then it's pointless.

You don't dance though :P

If you did your feet would be killing you by the end of the night.

They look pretty though and the only thing I don't like about those shoes because I've seen them before. The design I mean is that it curves up a little bit at the front. So you have to be mad careful when going down hills or anything like that. It's a bit awkward to walk in.
