ooohhhh the challenges of teaching three year olds to ski....you have the kids who refuse to do anything (including stand up) so they sit down at the top of the lifts causing a dog-pile of toddlers with their skis tangled up together in a huge web, you have your kids who scream and cry the minute they're separated from their parents, (and then the parents in turn simply tell me to carry on with the lesson, completely oblivious to the fact that i can't even convince the kid to aknowledge my presence, let alone put their skis on) then you have the kids who decide "who needs snowplows and turns?" and take it upon themselves to bomb down the hill, leaving me stranded at the top with the rest of the tangled up, fallen, screaming kids yelling uselessly at the one kid who has just gone straight down the hill, crashed into a fence, and is now crying his eyes out, and an angry parent marching up the hill ready to give me a heated lecture about placing their kid's safety in my hands and how i should be able to handle it. sound easy?
