Never had one. But if it has booze and I can drink it while staring at the sunset while laying in a hammock on the beach then I'm in.

Democrat. I'm a proud left-wing liberal! That said, contrary to popular belief, NOT all Democrats are truly PROGRESSIVE. I call them CORPORATE Democrats, who are equally as delusional and out of touch with the common American as their Republican colleagues. Call it what it is. Enough said. ( ... ).

Still a proud Democrat, though I have my reservations with a few things. |

I guess I'm a market socialist, but functionally it doesn't matter because we probably aren't going to get to a place in my lifetime where a socialist can run and have a chance at a major office in America (and I can't vote for another four years anyway). So basically I'm a down-the-line leftwinger.
I'm not a fan of either party but in a close race I'd usually vote for the Democrat. |

socialism is like a dirty word in this country. it is strange because most normal americans i've met favor the few socialist vestiges we have leftover from the fdr era - medicare, medicaid, social security. but ideologically they have been trained to resist any sign of encroaching socialism.
