This view used to be outside of my living room window when I lived at home it was zoomed out a bit further though.

Now I'm stuck with a view of a cemetery at my current apt. with other houses blocking that view.

This is looking out the front window of the GF's condo
(moved in when she was diagnosed with the big C).
There was a bike rally going on when I took this one:

Took this one last week when she put up the Hummingbird
feeder. We get quite a few, some have a really nice shade
of green on their bellies:

Oh I know! Generally speaking that's very true. The woods behind my dad's are far too thick to go into. If the underbrush wasn't there, or was as thick as it used to be, you could walk up the mountain and get some insanely cold water from one of the springs, or walk to one of the big openings. Now you'd just get scrapes and scratches all over you, and more than likely a tick or five.

Yeah sometimes I find myself not really appreciating it, since I grew up here, but it really is a gorgeous area. I can't wait to pick berries!

Oh it's exactly like it. One of the biggest reasons that movie freaked me out as a kid is because it looked like it could have been filmed here in the Poconos.

Can't see anything nice from my bedroom window, but these are my front doors.

OMG that freaks me out now. I actually get scared during that movie every time I watch it!
