How cute is that :). Hope it's real.

Yes :) It happened at the Oregon Zoo (in 2007) while the elephant was getting walked around the zoo by its handlers.

Some of the email banter I get from the GF can turn a horrific day into something positive, and funny:

GF: How did you like the Michelina’s there Mister Sir Patrick Maestro?

Me: Just Maestro please. They don't call Leonard Bernstien "Mr Sir Leonard Maestro" do they? So, please refrain from using any honorifics, as well as any proper first names. Thank you. The Maestro has spoken. Oh, the Alfredo was pretty good. Heeeeee...<--my dork laugh.

GF: You crack me up there Grand PooBah! Oh I mean…….Maestro.

Me: They don't call me The Virtuoso for nuthin. I got game, baby

GF: Oh yes you do! Jimmy popped corn but I don’t care.

Me: Are you Tony Danza? If you are, then hold me closer. Please.

GF: Yes, yes I am. How did you know? C ‘mere & let me give you a big ass squeeze!

Me: No, don't squeeze my ass! I gotta take a dump, and things could... well... happen down there. It wouldn't be pretty.

GF: Kind of like a play-doh machine?

We're dorks, but we're happy dorks at least.

Always keep a positive attitude.

Living in the moment is arguably the best way to remain content. It's not always an easy thing to do, especially as, on it's deepest level, it means not even judging whether things are good or bad, but you can still benefit without taking it to that supposedly enlightened level.

But, yeah, just live in the moment. Forget the past, don't worry about the future, do that and everything seems more beautiful. :)
