I ran through the pouring rain tonight. Not because I really wanted to but because I was transporting two laptops and an iPad to my car from my office and didn't want to get them wet. Does that count? :p:

I just have really bad anxiety, and I was told once that anxiety attacks often occur when there is too much excess energy in the body (along with other things). But when I run, I don't have time to be anxious, I get everything out and I feel better after.

Running does feel amazing. Especially when you get in that zone where you're not thinking at all, just doing. It's like the best form of meditation.

Meditating is good too! Has anyone here tried it?
I had an app for a little bit and it would have a positive quotation, and what I would do is keep that quotation in mind for the allotted time, it would help so much!

Yes, I used to meditate a lot actually. I still do when I'm having problems with my mind running.

It's such a calming thing to do. I remember, after I had been having some anxiety issues, I listened to this mediation tape that someone had lent to me.
It made me fall asleep but when I woke up I only had calming thoughts.

I have done the same thing. I remember my friend and I had to park so far from my room once when I was still at school. It was POURING and we ran back in the rain with no umbrella! It was so funny and great.

It's this kind of natural, wonderful feeling. I am a total water baby and my star sign is a water sign. But I definitely think rain can make you feel really good.
