But, yeah, just live in the moment. Forget the past, don't worry about the future, do that and everything seems more beautiful.
I went through that period of my life and it was great while you are in it but the whole not worrying about the future isn't a great thing. Maybe don't worry about too far into the future but it is important to have goals to work towards. Also, forgetting the past dooms you to repeat it. Learn from your past because it makes you what you are today.

Pretty much anyone that tries to live the HoneyBooBoo/Gangsta/RealityTV lifestyle. Always chasing that proverbial carrot.

I think goals can be good providing they're genuinely your goals, and not the ideas of another infiltrating your consciousness. And I don't mean forget the past literally, I mean don't live there, don't compare it with the present, don't mourn that which is gone.

I have no goals and barely any ambition personally. My philosophy is there's nowhere to get to and nothing to achieve beyond trying to become a better person through mindfulness, and I believe the best way to mindfulness is by doing nothing - but maybe that's just my excuse for being lazy , I'll let others be the judge of that.

I have goals, some achieved, some not. I just don't see the point in getting caught up thinking that if I don't achieve them, I'm less of a person for it. I'm still who I am intended to be underneath all the excess.

The goals are just to give you some direction not to be used as an indicator of how many times you failed to reach them.

I used to read a passage from Morihei Ueshiba - Art Of Peace every morning. It really can put things in a better perpective if you let it.
