Having said that, when are you ever going to need to know the year the first surgery was performed under general anaesthetic or the story of the Doner party? Or even the ability to critically analyse a poem?

Anyway, I've just finished my Computer Systems Engineering MEng Degree, so I'm completely finished with full-time education. 17 years is definately enough, although the last 4 years were definately the most fun.

Ah but you see Im not doing any further science/computer/engineering. Im going into Photography, French, Media Studies and English Lit in college. Quadratics won't help me much there I dont think.. Hope not anyways, I dont understand 'em at all.

Well that's probably coz you don't use the substitution method (I only know the name, not the method itself!!)

French?!?!?!? Seriously you only need that if you wanna go to france (or any of the other countries of the world that speak frnech) and who wants to go there?

ArtistInTheAmbulance 06-08-2005 02:56 PM

French is the one thing I can do :D So Ill keep doing it. It makes me feel special...

ladyluckrules 06-08-2005 02:59 PM

Ooh just got my result for french, 80% i dont know if that really deserves a yay.

eviljoker7075 06-08-2005 03:02 PM

You'll probably need some maths for photography, especially if they cover digital photography. French is certainly worth doing. Being able to speak another language will definately help you get a job in the future.

You need a minimum of C's in English and Maths to get into college. They'll probably accept ya if you don't get a C but they'll make you resit and you only get a year to learn the material before your exam resit.

I think the next exam I have to take is a prostate exam.

eviljoker7075 06-09-2005 02:19 AM

eeeuuuwwww, TMI!!!

ArtistInTheAmbulance 06-09-2005 12:33 PM

6 EXAMS LEFT! *dances*

And yeah Kurt... I realised that, but when I went into college for my interview they've said Im basically guaranteed a place there, seeing as Ive been predicted mostly Bs anyway. I just cant stand maths, it drives me mad...
