This is definitely true. I was part of a nerd gang in college and we weren't exactly the most popular people you'd meet. But we still got girls wanting to hang out with us who were hardcore into gaming and anime rather than conventional girl stuff. No matter what hobbies or interests you have there's always girls out there who can relate to you.

Or if you find the right one (not just girls!), they'll be more than happy to share your interests with you. I find it to be better that way a lot of times, because it's a bonding experience.

Honestly, to the nerdy loser chap. Just talk to girls. I know it seems intimidating, but you'll never win unless you compete.
If you can hold conversation, you've already won half the battle.

Agreed, one of my most meaningful relationships was with a guy who I guess would consider himself a "nerd" and part of the "nerdy" crowd, after years of dating he confessed to me that it took him so long to come and talk to me because he thought he'd never have a chance, and he's actually lucky he even decided to come and talk to me.

Plus, like Zer0 said, there are plenty of girls who are into "nerdy" stuff as well. And sometimes you can't pick it until you start up a conversation with them Chances are you'll find something you have in common. Like Mankysaid, half of the battle is getting the courage to start up a conversation. You can do it!

Yea and the other half is finding a girl who's hobbies range wider than checking facebook and texting her friends all day long. Sadly that leaves a small percentage.

I feel like I know exactly who said that.

At least here in Pittsburgh. (thankfully Im moving) Many times have I been out with a girl like on a date or something and asked her what she is into and she literately cant name one activity. The only thing those girls typically are good at is updated facebook status.
