I have to admit that I sort of like the smell of horse shit. And I don't mean the metaphorical kind.

Yeah horse/cow poo is quite nice.

Since we're going in that sort of direction (Manky started it), I like the smell of my own j1zz. Smells aquatic and clean.

My favourite smells are vived pens, my pink happiness perfume, cats in general, coffee, men's perfume, pizza and hot cookies.

I forgot another one: the smell of old books, like books in the library or old schoolbooks. I was an early reader (who woulda guessed, huh?) and joined my local library at 8 years. Like a fool I contemptuously passed the children's section and went straight for the adult, where I borrowed Kipling's "The jungle book". Man, was I annoyed when there wasn't one dancing bear nor singing ape in it!

But that smell always reminds me of the early, early days, discovering all those amazing books: you know, the big, hardbacked ones about geography, history, famous people and places, pottery ... anything really. Then I discovered the yellow-jacketed Gollanctz science-fiction novel series, and the path of my life was forever set...
