If you behave one way around your straight friends and one way around your gay friends whose to say how you would behave when you're by yourself.

I think when he's with people who know he's gay, then that is him being himself because he will be truly comfortable in his own skin...

I don't think you fully understand how much of a burden coming out can feel to someone, that they might go through feelings of even wanting to be straight because it would mean an easier life for them. Maybe your friend hadn't told you about his sexuality because he knows you won't react well and to me you don't seem very supportive towards him.

Why is that an issue? Why is it any of your business?

Of course it's my business b/c he was my friend.

why are you still mad? I don't understand, I mean it's been a week, and from the way you made it sound you two were really tight.. don't you think you should be over it by now?

Honestly I don't see why he can't have this opinion about his friend. It is his friend and if he wants to alienate himself from him then let him. The outrage over this is baffling. His friend should have told him he was gay, I don't see the big issue. His outrage over being scared over his intentions seems out of place I mean he is your friend regardless of whether hes attracted to you, so why would he hurt his friend in any way.

I was never angry. I was truly surprised to learn that he was gay and sad about the friendship I assumed we had since he didn't tell me. Also after learning about how creepy of a life this guy was living I'm sad and a bit disgusted that I let someone like that around me.

& he has already contacted me & I told him I found him/situation creepy and there was no way I could be his friend again. So this "issue" was wrapped up days ago.

Had you never found out you would still be his friend. You don't find that in the least bit hypocritical of yourself?

Creepy?

I am sorry did I miss the fact that he had chloroform lollipops in his pocket and was planning on giving you one one night...?
John Wayne Gacy was creepy... your friend is gay... not a serial killer... But I am glad you got your situation handled.. I thought you were still stewing...
