Someone literally said that to you? Jesus. With me it was something I discovered and realized myself - I could never burden another human life with the misery that my brain is infected with. My apologies, people are so insensitive sometimes.

But the thought of building a perfect world begs another question: what would "perfect" look like?

Depends on one's definition of perfect I guess.

A world of pure Aryans like Hitler's vision? A world ruled by philosopher kings, chosen for their intelligence, like Plato envisioned in his Republic? A world preoccupied with and driven, by law, towards an abstract idea of reaching greatness as advovated by Nietzsche?

I think the world is already perfect. And the less we interfere with and impose our abstract ideas on it, the easier that perfection is to appreciate.
