Hawking is a space cosmos expert who was struck down with motor neurone disease, which eventually paralyses and kills you. Hawking wasn't meant to live past 21 but he's 60 something now.
He never complained about his disability, instead getting on with his life and becoming one of the greatest minds in science.
Please do not comment on who the disabled hold in high regard if you yourself are not disabled, it pisses me off. Especially if the only disabled person you can name is your 'superman'

To me (I'm not disabled though), Steven Hawking is one of the brightest, and best individuals of our age. I really look up to the guy and read alot of his material (I love to study cosmology). He's a great thinker, and like it has been mentioned, he never gripes about his problems, he just goes on and does what he can in life.

Yeah, its great they're helping these people who have the money do pay for it all themselves with no problem at all, who cares about all the people who cant afford it and are dying as we speak? Jeez, they never got on TV did they, what did they do for society...

Just so we're clear, its the topic at hand that gets me pissed off... That outburst isnt directed at any of you.
