^The guy has no colour coordination. It's terrible, red, blue and yellow. Urgh. And Clark Kent was a pussy. Batman was smart coz he made all his own gadgets, and he was rich

batman is a mere human being whereas superman isnt. he cant die unless some jerk comes along with some kryptonite. if batman gets hits by a bus, then he's done. superman will live forever! plus the guy who played superman was a lot more insprirational then george clooney.

Argh this really annoys me! As a disabled person myself I find that assumption insulting! He didn't give a toss about disability until after his accident. The same goes for J.Fox and Ali. They never funded any research into Parkinsons until they were struck with it.
The true hero for the disabled was Hawking. He carried on his work even though he was ill with motor neurone disease.
The disabled community as a whole, doesnt hold Reeve in that high regard compared to Hawking and Tanny Grey for example.

I completely agree with that. I dont see why these people should be considered heroes just because they've been on TV. Like you say, Hawking actually had a reason to be admired, he kept going with everything and tried not to let his disability get in his way.
Its like the Kylie thing, when she was diagnosed with breast cancer... People die of that far too often for Kylie to be getting all the attention shes getting now. I saw an ad the other day saying "Help Kylie's cancer, pick up a cancer awareness bracelet today"...
There are people far more deserving of all this attention and respect, but because these people are on TV, they're more important.
