Don't mention the flame war. I mentioned it once, but I think I got away with it all right.

I think I'm weird, but I act like I was normal. I was a crazy child: I was very out-going, but had not much social skills. I had a different sense of humor and a different way to think. I was full of crazy ideas which only my best friend wanted to create with me.
At secondary school I had very low self-esteem. I suddenly noted that no one liked me as I was, especially boys. I imitated the behavior of popular girls and shopped same kind clothes as them. I got higher in the social hierarchy, got new friends, and many boys liked me.
I became shy. My self-esteem is higher now, but shyness is my problem. I'm still different inside: I think more critically than another people of my age and I'm interested about different things than others: art, philosophy, communal things...

Haha, I accidentally told my memoir here. I'm finnish and you maybe notice it from my spelling, you can always correct my mistakes.

Your spelling is perfect, don't worry. And I love Finland and Finnish history, by the way.

Wait. The thread is asking if we are weird or normal. The argument or debate was relevant. Without going back to arguing, I was simply saying I don't think what Vanilla was mentioning is weird at all. I like a lot of the same things and i feel like a lot of girls do. It's different to study IT, for example, but not weird.

I think the thread is asking if you feel like you are weird or normal compared to your own personal experiences in everyday life and interactions with other people in your immediate surroundings. I don't think the OP is trying to define what's normal or not.
