I have a question, how are you supposed to know if the guy is just looking for a casual bang or a relationship? I have a hard time differentiating the two and would like to stop wasting my time with guys who are only interested in sex.

You could always ask. I imagine if the guy is too squirrelly to give a straight up answer then he's probably just a douche.

Don't sleep with them straight away. If they haven't fucked off after a while (long enough for you to be sure) then they're obviously interested in you as a person.

A few of my girl friends have done this in the past, met some guy, liked him, slept with him then are surprised when his interest in them stops and they don't reply to calls/texts. Easiest way to avoid this is to just wait. Genuine lads won't be arsed.

I don't have casual sex anyway so that's no problem. I'm quite shy in reality, especially with guys I like, so me asking them what's happening just isn't going to happen.

Men confuse the life out of me. I thought I understood men but I was wrong .

It's pointless asking them because they can just lie anyway.

Another thing is the way they speak to you, ones who just want to shag you will be more forward and sexual in conversation, in my opinion anyway. Also I think it depends where you meet them. Very unlikely you'll find any lasting relationships in a nightclub for example.
